Da Nang is a beautiful coastal city where you can go for swim in one of the most attractive beaches in the world (according to Forbes). There are many things to do in here – The historical My Son Sanctuary (was constructed between 4th and the 14th century AD by kings of Champa), the Marble Moutain, Ba Na Hill, Golden Bridge (one of the most beautiful bridge in the world) or tons of trekking activities and special foods. Da Nang is the largest city in central Vietnam. The climate of Da Nang is affected by the transaction and the interweaving of the North and the South, however, it tends to be more typical weather of the South than the North. Da Nang experiences the monsoon climate, and thus has two distinctive periods: wet and dry season.
From December to August, Da Nang is hot and humid. The highest average temperature is around 33 to 35 degrees and the lowest is around 26 degrees. The hottest months of the year fall between June and August.
The best time for visiting Da Nang is from February to May, which is the spring season. Hence, it is neither too hot and humid nor not too cold and wet, which is fantastic. At this time, the weather is sunny and light wind, not too hot during the day and not too cold during night. During the day, you can visit Ba Nang Hill, Marbel mountain, go to the beach and temples. For the people who want to explore nature, you can rent motorbike to get to Son Tra for a panorama view of Da Nang, cross Hai Van pass – with many adventurous bends.
From September to November, the heavy rainfall occurs. During this time, the rain will come frequently, which makes the city much cooler, wetter and difficult to travel. The Geography And Weather
Nha Trang is a coastal city and capital of Khanh Hoa province, located on the south-central of Vietnam. With 507 square kilometers, Nha Trang has around 19 islets and islands. In general, the weather is mild all year – with little rain and sunshine. The average temperature is around 26 to 27 degrees and divided into two seasons: rainy season and dry season. You can visit Nha Trang whole of the year, however, summer is the time you can experience all most activities.
The dry season is from January to September. You can visit Nha Trang during July to September. The best month to come here is August “Nha Trang beach waves you in August”. The weather is beautiful and the beach is pleasant. It is also the time for diving as the water is clear and coral reefs are most beautiful.
Rains falls during October to December. Typhoons are common during the wet season, but thanks to the islands scattered around the bay, the city is shielded from the worst winds. You can still visit Nha Trang, but you may be limited to take part in some activities and maybe spend all most time in indoor venues. One good thing about traveling this time, is that you will be able find accommodation and tours with lower rates.
