  ITINERARY 

Day 1. Arrive Da Nang – Hoi An 


Welcome to Da Nang – the commercial and educational center of Central Vietnam!

Upon arrival at Da Nang International Airport, you will be greeted by our tour guide and be transferred to Hoi An for hotel check-in.

If time permits, we can enjoy the walking tour to explore the Old Quarter of Hoi An ancient town. You will be touring on the relaxing walking tour into the secret corners of the ancient yellow town Hoi An, which is enjoyable for understanding the daily life, the faiths of the local inhabitants and its unique beauty. Walking through the narrow streets in the ancient quarter, we will have a visit to the Chinese Assembly Halls, one of the old houses and Japanese Bridge, and Hoi An Museum.

Day 2. Hoi An – My Son – Bach Ma National Park


After breakfast, we will visit My Son Holy Land – another UNESCO site. The past history, the diversified and plentiful culture and religious life of Cham people and their skillful art in sand stone carvings are impressively shown through the mysterious temple.

On the way go to Hue, we will over the famous top gear of Hai Van pass and have seafood lunch at lagoon by Lang Co bay 

On arrival to Bach Ma National Park, which is a mountainous area not far from the coast. Bach Ma not only has atmospheric jungle and interesting flora & fauna but also spectacular views over the beautiful coastal beaches and lagoons. Furthermore, Bach Ma is not on the popular tourist route so you are likely to enjoy this natural wonder away from the crowds. You will enjoy the easy hiking to the summit of Bach Ma to catch the sunset moment at the height of over 1,4500m.

Stay overnight at the villa in Bach Ma and have dinner at restaurant.

Day 3. Bach Ma National park – Truc Lam Zen – Hue


Our morning will be started by enjoying the pure sunrise and the peaceful fresh breakfast in the nature. After that, you will trek into the eco trails to Ngu Ho (Five Lakes) to learn more about the wildlife in Bach Ma and swim at the cool jungle pool. The adventure keeps taking you to Rhododendron waterfall, for an amazing view over the mountains of Bach Ma National Park. You will pass the Truoi Lake with small boat for visiting Truc Lam Zen Monastery.

In the late afternoon, we will arrive to Hue, the most poetic city in the central of Vietnam and the capital of Vietnam under the Nguyen dynasty time.

Day 4. Hue


Nothing is better than beginning the Hue tour by a visit to the Imperial city & Forbidden city - homed to 13 Emperors of Nguyen Dynasty - the last feudal dynasty in Vietnam, ruled from 1802-1945. Then, we will experience the Art of Truc Chi , an An acculturation in the contemporary context Originated from Hue in 2012, Truc Chi is now a valuable part of the new art culture of Hue, Vietnam. Together they have built upon the traditional art of paper crafting, utilizing a wide variety of materials, different techniques, and novel ideas, to create a new form of art and new cultural values, adding to the already rich culture of Hue. After that, you will be transferred to Xuan Vien garden house – a typical traditional house of Hue. The house owned by an Official of Nguyen’s King before.

We will have lunch at a local friendly family house in Thuy Bieu Village and enjoy the footbath in the peaceful garden of Mr. Dai’s house. Known as homeland of Thanh Tra – a fruit similar to pomelo, Thuy Bieu is covered by hundreds of hectares of Thanh Tra orchard.

During afternoon, you will be picked up to home of Thay Thich Nhat Hanh, Tu Hieu pagoda where is not only a place for the monks to lead an awakening life but also for anyone who wishes to find a serene haven to escape from the busy life or to learn meditation. Then, we visit Chuon Lagoon, which is in the Tam Giang lagoon system – the biggest lagoon system in South East Asia for the relaxing sunset sampan cruise.

Day 5. Hue


The whole day will be for discovering the countryside of Hue. We will ride a bike to the rustic Hue. Thanks to the local morning market, you will know the details of Vietnamese family daily budget. All of famer life or activities are shown in the agriculture museum in Thanh Toan village. After that, we will have a private cooking class for our lunch with the sweet guidance of the master chef, sister Nua.

On the way back to city, we stop for visiting the royal tomb of Emperor Tu Duc for more knowledge about the feudal life. Backing to the hotel for dressing up nicely to enjoy the beautiful music performance by the Hue singers and artists.

Day 6. Hue – The Vietnamese Demilitarized Zone – Phong Nha


After breakfast at hotel, you will be driven to Phong Nha via The Vietnamese Demilitarized Zone - DMZ Area. We will visit the Mine Action Visitor Center in Dong Ha for more information about the life after war in Vietnam.  Then tour will stop at Ben Hai River - the 17th Parallel and Vinh Moc tunnel – the famous “Underground city”.

Day 7. Phong Nha


On the way to Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park in Dong Hoi province, we stop at Mr. Ho Khanh’s house - “the King of Cave Kingdom”, who first found the biggest cave of the world – Son Doong Cave.  Found in 2005 by a local man and explored by Royal British Caving Association, the Paradise Cave itself considered owning the most beautiful stalactites in the area.  Climb steps (over 700 steps) to the entrance then take another easy walk following wooden walkway about 1km underground to visit Paradise cave - A feast for the eyes and soul. It really reminds you of something from a movie like “Lord of the Rings”.

We will have lunch at the riverside restaurant before driving to the town for a relaxing boat trip on Son river to Phong Nha water cave will show you the beauty of the caves in Phong Nha – the Cave Kingdom.

Day 8. Phong Nha – Dong Hoi – Train to Da Nang


After breakfast at hotel, you will be picked up to Dong Hoi Station for the morning train to Da Nang. Train will pass many beautiful landscape and Hai Van Pass.

Upon arrival at Da Nang, we visit Linh Ung pagoda  on Son Tra Peninsula.  You are free to enjoy beach activities in Da Nang beach – one of the most beautiful beach in Viet Nam.

Day 9. Da Nang – Siem Reap


Leaving Vietnam behind, we will be transferred to Da Nang International Airport for the next destination.
