Day 1. Arrive in Ha Noi

Welcome to Hanoi – millennium capital of Vietnam!

Upon arrival at Noi Bai Airport, you will be greeted by our tour guide and be transferred to the city central for hotel check-in. Rest of the day will be free at own leisure.

Day 2. Ha Noi

You will have a full day adventure in Hanoi.  Being one of the most ancient cities in Vietnam, Hanoi is characterized by a variety of monuments and constructions from antique to modern. You will have a chance to admire the antique pagoda right next to French building and to taste the oriental flavor in the old quarter. You can visit the complex include Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, the stilt house of Ho Chi Minh (“Uncle Ho”) and One-pillar pagoda. The next stop for this morning is Tran Quoc Pagoda, the most popular and oldest pagoda in Hanoi, and Quan Thanh temple. Morning tour ends up with the Literature Temple which is dedicated to Confucius and known as the first university of Vietnam.

Afternoon tour begins with Ethnology Museum where you will discover Vietnam’s unique cultures. Then, we will travel back to the old quarter to revel the amazing Ngoc Son temple and Hoan Kiem Lake.

Day 3. Ha Noi – Hoa Lu – Ninh Binh    

On the journey to Hoa Lu (the capital of Vietnam before the 10th century) in Ninh Binh province, you can visit Tam Coc, a region often referred to as “Ha Long Bay on land”. A 2 hours boat trip will help you discovery the amazing Tam Coc with authentic beauty of hundreds of limestone. Then, you will ride a bicycle for about two kilometers to visit Bich Dong, a small ancient pagoda in a cave on the mountain. From there, you will have an overview of Tam Coc. Continue your trip by visiting Dinh – Le Temple, which is dedicated to the two famous kings of Vietnam history.

Day 4. Ninh Binh – Ha Long Bay

The tour will continue with Ha Long Bay, the most outstanding place in the North of Vietnam, also proclaimed the 8th wonder of the world. Along the way, you can admire the paddy fields and dramatic landscapes of the Red River Delta. After breakfast, the driver picks you up at your hotel for the transfer to Ha Long city.

Upon arrival, you will embark on a traditional wooden junk for a 2-days-one-night cruise tour. It is time you enjoy the UNESCO World Heritage site filled with thousands of limestone karsts and verdant, monolithic isles. Lose yourself in the stunning landscape and savor an excellent lunch and dinner onboard, including delicious fresh local seafood.

Day 5. Ha Long - Hai Phong - Da Nang - Hoi An

Enjoy a peaceful morning on the bay with amazing landscape around. You will admire ever more fascinating limestone formations on the junk cruise back to the jetty.

Disembark at noon and journey will direct to the Hai Phong airport for your flight to Da Nang.

Upon arrival you will be welcomed and transferred to Hoi An by our tour guide.

Day 6. Hoi An

The whole day will be for discovering Hoi An ancient city including Ong Pagoda, Chinese Assembly Hall, the 200-years Tam Ky old house and the Japanese Covered Bridge. Following the tour you discover the daily life people here, visit markets and go shopping. Hoi An is known as one of the best cities to buy tailor-made clothes.

Afternoon, you are free to discover the city of Hoi An or to relax on Cua Dai beach.

Day 7. Hoi An – Hue

During morning, you will have free time for exploring and relaxing in Hoi An.

In the afternoon, leaving the ancient city Hoi An behind, we will travel to Hue, the most poetic city in the central of Vietnam and the capital of Vietnam under the Nguyen dynasty time.

Day 8. Hue

Nothing is better than beginning the Hue tour by a visit to Khai Dinh Royal Tomb, then proceed to Minh Mang Royal Tomb where the trip continues with a cruise on the romantic Huong River (Perfume River in English) to Thien Mu Pagoda, the ancient Buddhist monument of the city.

Afternoon will be spent by visiting the Imperial City of the Nguyen Dynasty (1804-1945) and the Forbidden Purple City. If time permits, you can visit Dong Ba market at the end of the day.

Day 9. Hue – Ho Chi Minh

After breakfast at hotel in Hue you will be driven to the airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon).

In the afternoon, you will take a special cyclo tour in Saigon. This tour will lead you to all the highlights of the city such as the Ho Thi Ky flowers market, Quan Am Pagoda and the China town. Then, you will visit Central Post Office, the Notre Dame Cathedral and walk along historic Catinat Street (now called Dong Khoi).

Day 10. Ho Chi Minh – Ben Tre – Can Tho

Ben Tre is the hometown of coconut and well-known for its canal system. After leaving Saigon in the morning, you will arrive to Ben Tre city around lunchtime. You will embark a boat to cruise along the Ben Tre River. On the way to visit canal system, you will stop to visit a brick factory where you can learn how bricks are made by hand in a traditional way. Coconut processing workshop along the river is your next stop. Then you will take a Xe Loi or a bicycle along the village path. The rest of the day will be spent for walking through the village and visit a mat making house. Then, embark small boat to travel along the small canal and back to Hung Vuong pier.

Transfer to Can Tho

Day 11. Can Tho – Ho Chi Minh

Today, we will take a boat trip through the winding waterway to visit Cai Rang floating market, the biggest and bustling one in the Mekong Delta. We highly recommend you to leave the hotel at 7 o’clock to get the best experience at the market, as it is crowded with hundreds of sampans which sell fruits, vegetables, plants, food and other good for trade at that time. The boat continues to a house-orchard, where you can sample the delicious tastes and flavors of the Mekong River.

After that, we will back to Saigon and overnight in Saigon.

Day 12. Depart Saigon
